“Aromatherapy is part of a larger field called phytotherapy (plant therapy). True aromatherapy is the skilled use of genuine essential oils for therapeutic purposes. Science, education and experience allow aromatherapy to truly become a holistic art.” (Annette Davis, NAHA President).
 
Aromatherapy can also describe comforting thoughts of your Grandma baking her famous apple pie on a fall afternoon as you smell the apple pie candle you have burning.  Scent has a powerful influence on us.
 
But the aromatherapy we discuss here is more in depth. The art is intricately weaved through our own unique physical and mental chemistry.  Choosing the best formulation for a specific application of an individual involves looking at four things:
 

  • Purpose of the blend.

  • Where the blend needs to be applied.

  • How it is applied (inhalation, topical)

  • What is the individual’s unique situation that influences safety and contraindications.

 
A consultation takes all of this into consideration. The primary goal is to promote relaxation, alleviate stress, and support holistic healing, fostering a sense of balance and harmony within the individual's mind and body.  Through education, guidance, and the thoughtful integration of aromatic substances, our goal is to empower clients to optimize their wellness and enhance their quality of life.

Ready to unleash your own creativity?  We offer How to Guides in PDF for purchase, free resources like our Blog, other PDF guides; however, if you are looking for local classes we can help you.   For those not in our area we can create a class format for you to use to share with your customers, family, or friends.

For example, a cute boutique offering a variety of items wants to share a popular topic (How to Use Essential Oils Correctly) with their customers.  We can create a class format for 1 hour, 3 hour, or day long classes. All you have to do is follow along with the syllabus.  It's that easy!
