Meet the Founder of Sunny Brews Apothecary
Hi, I’m Sandy, founder and product formulator of Sunny Brews Apothecary, a Missouri-based botanical apothecary creating small-batch skincare, hair care, handmade soap, body care, wellness and herbal products.
With more than 20 years of experience in aromatherapy, herbalism, and product formulation, I combine a love of plants with ongoing research and education to create thoughtful, ingredient-focused formulas. I’m always learning—exploring botanicals, naturally derived ingredients, and formulation science to create products that are purposeful, effective, and made with care.
I also love sharing information to help do-it-yourself lovers to formulate safe and effective formulations. You will find lots of information on my blog posts that will help you in this journey.
Rooted In Nature
I've felt connected to nature for as long as I can remember. From childhood adventures outdoors to growing and foraging plants in rural Missouri, the natural world has always been where I feel most at home.
That connection eventually led me deeper into herbalism, aromatherapy, and botanical formulation - and ultimately to build Sunny Brews Apothecary.
